This is the design that I have come up with for making my own custom, working lightsaber. I have always been a huge Star Wars and general Sci-fi fan, but lately I have been sold on the idea of building my own working lightsaber. The body is all Aluminum, with most of the parts ordered custom made from The Custom Saber Shop.
These are all of the parts that I am gonna use to create the body of the saber. At the time of this picture, I did not have any of the interior electronics and currently they are all soldered together and inside the body. Due to this I cannot easily get a picture of them.
This is the actual saber body while put together, but I have not had any time to add on any of the customization such as the colors, lettering, or the metal overlays.
